From the past to the present
Since May 2018, Michael Oberleitner, the great-grandson of the founding generation, has been the owner of the family-runned Waldcafe which was constructed in 1928. After completion of the higher education institute for tourism in Zell am Ziller in the year 2011 Michael started to gather experience in the industry.
In businesses like the award-winning restaurant Sieghard in Schwendau, the Hotel Alpenhof 4*s in Hintertux, the Hotel Post 4*s in Lermoos, as well as a one and a half year stay in London at the hotel The Dorchester 5* and the buzzing Smoking Goat Restaurant, Michael developed and improved his skills and knowledge.
